Marine Ecosystems

The marine areas of Nelson’s Dockyard National Park support a variety of ecosystems and their associated biodiversity. These ecosystems provide a variety of uses, including shoreline protection from the impact of storms, support of livelihoods, a role in the fight against climate change, and providing habitat for a great number of species.
